The Artist’s Tarot brings together 78 hand-painted cards created by Kent artist Edward Weaver-Coles. The deck grew from a simple creative idea: to make a complete tarot deck through original artwork, with each card approached as its own image.
A complete deck made by hand
Rather than begin with a set of finished illustrations, Ed painted the cards as a connected body of work. The result is a deck made from his own visual language, with colour, character and symbolism carried across the full set.
The project is accompanied by a guidebook and is presented as a creative journey through the cards. It reflects the way art, intuition and storytelling meet in Ed’s wider practice.
