Artist statement
Artist. Creator.
Creative soul.
Based in Wateringbury, Kent, Ed is an artist with a love for anything and everything creative. From painting and drawing to graphic design and photography, if it involves imagination, he's probably interested in it.
His work moves between painterly, expressive and abstract pieces to more refined and detailed artwork, guided by the story, emotion and energy behind each creation. A big part of his practice is rooted in spirituality, exploring the connection between art, intuition, memory and the people and animals who mean the most to us.
Ed is also the creator of his own hand-painted tarot deck, bringing all 78 cards to life from scratch before publishing the finished deck.
He particularly loves creating personal and meaningful commissions, from portraits of loved ones to much-loved animals.
For Ed, art is about capturing a feeling, telling a story and creating something that means something to someone.
